Adam, Our thanks for supplying two great bikes with panniers and helmets for our self-guided 750 mile, 3 week trip in May. Penny and I cycled around Norfolk (Broads were the best), Suffolk, (it reached 30 degrees), Essex (loved Brightlingsea) and all around Cambridge- a good trip was out to Swatham Bolbeck, back via the Cam. Anyway, the 18 speed bikes went very well-had the best seats we've encountered and we've done this type of hol 4 times before. Our only suggestion is to consider changing the tyres as the tread kept picking up small stones from recent road repairs. We had a wonderful holiday in UK and met lots of helpful and nice people. We stock a range of styles and sizes of Bike for men and women. All Bikes come with a high quality Lock and a set of Lights, Baskets can be fitted on request and Helmets can be Hired seperately.
All maintanance and servicing is included within the cost of the Hire.
All we ask for from our customers is a £40 Deposit that's fully refundable in addition to the Hire fee, all payable in advance.
City Cycle Hire also offers a Damage Liability Cover. In the event of any damage caused to your Bike such as broken Chainguards or buckled Wheels customers would not incur any extra charges and this garantees a full refund of the customers Deposit.
We cannot cover customers against lost items.

With so many Students living in and visiting Cambridge all year round we have Hundreds of Student Bikes with an annual Lease option available running up to 3 years.
Gents Mountain Bikes and Ladies Mountain Bikes are always available.

Group Hires
We cater for groups of any size for any period from a half day city Tour to extended study periods such as a 3 month term.
Wether you are organising a Corporate Event or travelling with a Class of Students we have many years experience in tailoring bookings for many different needs.
If your group is more than 15 people then you qualify for an additional discount and we may also be able to deliver the Bikes for you. Contact us with details of your group and we will reply to you to discuss the the options.
For Children we have a limited stock of Bikes, but you might be interested in family options such as Childseats or Tag-a-longs, please call us for details.
We also have some Specialist Bikes such as a Tourers, Tandems or Fixed Gear Bikes. You could plan a holiday around some of these Bikes.
